Card For Sharon
I made a card last week for my manager, who turned 40. A very important moment in a girl's life, I'm sure you'll agree! I knew I wanted to use numbers on the card and cruised around looking for what I had in mind. I used a card by Debby Hughes which you can see here. I used a different embossing folder. I love this one as it's 5x7" like most of my cards. The colour is River Rock. I cut out the numbers with my new MFT dies and covered them in glitter glue, which you can't really see here. I don't use glitter very often at all, but if you can't have a bit of bling when you're 40, when can you?! I've put them on a cut out using my labels collection framelits to cut out a piece of textured cardstock in Pretty in Pink and then drawn round the same frame on white cardstock and cut it out by hand.
