Listers Gotta List for July

I haven't joined in with LGL for a while, but I decided to give it a go this month, as the prompts had the Camp Reset theme (and doing it for the whole month would earn you a badge!  There's my motivation, right there!)
For this month I've decided to use the Cabin Fever range from Simple Stories.  I've seen this around, and of course it's very American, so I never thought I'd have a reason to use it, but Camp Reset turned out to be the perfect opportunity.  Here we go:

I am in love with this washi tape, and I loved putting the sticker that says 'Trail Head' at the top, as this is my beginning of Camp Reset, do you see what I mean?  It totally made me smile.

I've really enjoyed filling this in.  I totally love the Carpe Diem horizontal pages because I want to decorate pages but I don't do long lists, so these are ideal.

Colour Q Challenge # 121 and Freshly Made Sketches # 19

Hi folks, hope you're having a good weekend.  I can hardly believe I'm posting again so soon, but I really wanted to get this card on before it's too late. Here are another couple of challenge blogs I've been following since just before Christmas, but I haven't had enough supplies to be able to join in.  The first one is the Colour Q challenge  which as you can see, wants us to use the colours shown in the picture, put together beautifully in the skirt.  I don't have any of the Stampin Up! In Colours yet, so this is the first time I've been able to have a go.  The second challenge blog is Freshly Made Sketches.  I saw this and wondered if I could combine the two challenges. And so here is my card: First of all, I rotated the sketch, I just couldn't work it that way up! I decided to use a kraft card base, and stamped the image (sorry I can't remember the name of it) which I'd inked up in Old Olive, Real Red and More Mustard.

The Paper Players #95

Hello there everyone, hope you've had a good Monday.  I have, despite the pain in my hand.  I'm pleased to say it hasn't stopped me crafting one bit. I'm really pleased to have made a card that I can enter at The Paper Players blog challenge .  Here are their colours for this week: Such great colours, but it took quite a bit of experimenting before I was happy with my card: It looks a bit light in the photograph, but it's lovely in real life.  I've just received my order of card stock, including a pack of Baja Breeze, so that was my jumping off point.  I tried several different stamps before deciding on the Posy Punch set, as a lot of stamps didn't have enough impact in these colours, and I wanted to make a statement.  I've substituted Real Red for Poppy Parade as I don't have any ink in that colour. The Paper Players # 86

Hello there!  I am a big fan of The Paper Players challenge blog and follow it avidly week by week (yes I spend a lot of time reading blogs!) and so finally I'm able to join in this week.  It's a colour challenge: Now here's the silly thing... when I saw these colours I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them, but when I actually tried it, it didn't work!  So I played and played and had practically every stamp out that I own, and then in the end, this is what I made: The thing that's brilliant about these challenges is that they're helping me to learn about proportion, i.e. whether everything is to scale (you know what it's like when you have a tiny stamp that disappears on your card) and the way colours work together.  Years ago (yes, I'm quite old!) there was a brilliant book called Colour Me Beautiful which explained very cleverly about how to dress and keep colour and pattern in proportion.  It talked about main colours and accent colours,
