Off The Page

Over the summer, when I have more time, I am trying to make a few things that aren't cards.  Some papers are so lovely, I like to find ways of keeping a little bit back for myself!  This is my latest project:

I used some of the vintage papers from Craftwork Cards, which I've backed onto cardboard hearts all cut out with my Nellie Snellen dies.  The back of each heart is plain green.  I've stamped 'Home, Sweet Home' onto the hearts, I hope you can see it.  The top heart has a little clothes peg on it, and some tiny polka dot buttons.  The middle heart has a couple of roses on it, and the bottom heart has a bow at the bottom.  What thrilled me was that I found the green polka dot ribbon in my stash that is perfect for this colour scheme.  I've hung it up in my kitchen window where it looks really good.
Hope you like it.

  3. You are too clever and creative for words. Once again the cards below are just great, with an originality that sets them apart from the standard wedding/anniversary type cards. And your little decorative hanging is really cute.
