A Teeny Wish

Good afternoon everyone!  We have a few roof tiles missing after the storms this weekend and a small but significant hole in the roof!  Hopefully a man is coming out tomorrow to fix it for us, before we get too much more rain.  Never a dull moment round here.
Poor hubby has only just gone back to work today after being off ill since Wednesday afternoon.  How do you tell someone you love them very much, but they're interrupting your crafting time?!
Anyway, I managed to get this card made:
The green on here is all SU! Wild Wasabi, a colour I wasn't very attracted to at first (considering I like greens generally) but the more I've used it, the more I like it.  The dsp is from the Holly Berry Bouquet range, which I really love.  It's meant to be a Christmas paper, but as you can see, this is very suited to other cards, too.
The sentiment on the tag says, 'A teeny little birthday wish,' and continues inside the card with, 'sent with big hugs to a special person'.  The panel across the card is stamped in Wild Wasabi on white, with the tag on top after I'd added the lace, and the die cut flowers are from my new doily die from Marianne Designs.  It's a separate flower that you can cut out of the centre of the doily if you like.  I've put a little white rose from Wild Orchid Crafts in the middle of them.
I'm very pleased with this card, it's got a really fresh, clean feel to it.  Now I have to decide if I want to make another one, or use the other side of this paper for a different project.  Decisions, decisions.
Back soon with another Valentine card, which I think you'll like.
Have a great day, everyone!
Jane xx

  2. Lovely card again Jane. I really love the colour scheme, it's so clean and fresh. SU have such great names for their colours. I'm dying to know what you are ordering from SU - I've already planned my next order and what I want from the Sale-a-bration brochure. Have fun x x
