Baby Christening

I do love it when it's time to make a christening card, as I get to pull out this beautiful image from LOTV:

The card is 5x7 and I've used a strip of Pretty In Pink cardstock down the left hand side, that's been put through my scallop punch.  The patterned paper is by October Afternoon, and blends perfectly with the pinks I've  used here.  I've backed the stamped image and the sentiment with Melon Mambo.  Altogether it's turned out to be a very harmonious card, with everything working well together.  I've used lots of pink Promarkers to colour the stained glass window in the background and the baby's dress, and I'm very pleased with the result.
And now, bizaarely, I'm off to make a Christmas card or two (because you'd do that in January, wouldn't you?)
And yes, I am waiting very patiently for a Stampin Up order, but because I am a sensible person, I am waiting for the Sale-a-bration to start, and the waiting is killing me!
Have a great weekend, everyone!
Jane xx

  2. A very pretty card, Jane. The next christening card I'll be making will probably be Bronwyne's. They're hoping to make the arrangements when they go to church tomorrow.
