Iris

This is another of the Penny Black stamps I was telling you about.  At first I printed it onto white card and coloured it purple, but I had a moment of hesitation before colouring it in.  I knew my conscience was telling me it looked beautiful without being coloured, so that's what I did.  I printed it again on cream card and left it.  I covered one of the scalloped cards in the brown paper from The Linen Closet and stamped all over it with the Letter stamp and then stuck the main image down.  It was only after I'd made the tag that I realised I should have backed the main image with black card to match, or maybe put some black photo corners on it, but there we are, you live and learn, don't you?  I think it's obvious I'm in love with the letter background stamp!
Well I'm off to make some cards for a charity church sale, as it's rather windy here.
Thanks for stopping by today, your comments are really appreciated.
