Peeking Over

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, things have been very hectic here.  We are moving in just over a week, the horses go next Friday and we go on the Saturday.  I have been busy packing and I've been ill, which hasn't helped.  I've been on antibiotics since Monday but I'm no better.
Our horses have had the same farrier for the past eight years, and today was their last visit.  I wanted to make a card to say thankyou for all their care over the years.  Suddenly I remembered I have the perfect thing:
I love this set of farmyard animal stamps from Woodware.  The grey horse is Barnaby and the brown horse is Zak.  You have to stamp them and mask them, then add the wall, which I coloured with various brown Promarkers and Stampin Up pens.  The sentiment says, 'Peeking over to thank you.'  I hadn't realised there was a thankyou in this set, I was going to use something else.  I've coloured the horse's headcollars in Pacific point (SU!) so framed the picture and stamped the greeting in the same colour.
I've just realised as I've typed this that I've used masking and there's a lot of white space on the card, so I'd better enter it in this week's Less Is More challenge.
I will post as often as I can, but once we move I don't know how long it will take to get broadband.  I hope it's quick as I don't think I can live without my daily dose of blogging, I'll so miss reading your blogs as well as writing my own.
Thanks for dropping in today, don't forget to leave a comment.

  5. Fab card. Hope everything goes smoothly for you. Don't forget to make a little crafting goody bag together with a project, tools and materials so that you don't have to wait for everything to be unpacked before you can craft again lol

  7. It's not surprising that you're ill with all the stress of the move Jane and I'm so very sorry that you've had to give up your horses. It's so lovely of you to think of thanking your farrier with this thoughtful card and I'm sure they'll be delighted. Good luck with the move and I hope some better times lie ahead. Take care, Vicky x
