First Valentine's Card

And this, my friends, is what having a Sizzix Bigshot is all about! I bought this stamped image last year and used it for hubby's anniversary card, so it's lovely to bring it out again this year for Valentine's Day. It's smaller than I remember it, but very sweet. I painted this last year on normal card using water colour paints which makes the card wrinkle, but this year I used Promarkers, which are a massive improvement. I love using their pastel yellow, and maybe a bit of blush for bears. Hope you like it.
I used:
Papers: Basic Grey Lemonade
Die Cuts: Nellie Snellen ovals
Promarkers: bear - pastel yellow, rose - dusky pink and pastel pink
Sentiment: freebie with a magazine last year.
Thanks for dropping by,
Mrs O.

  5. Hi April

Thanks for agreeing to play in our challenges. A envelope just larger that your card that is big enough to hold the envelope to sell it with should be fine - if you put an extra piece of card in to protect any embelishments and help stiffen it, then I'm sure that will be fine.

See you on the blog next Saturday.

  6. Just had a quick look at your blog and you make lovely cards. I can`t believe you haven`t had the courage to join in with a challenge. You could try the Less Is More challenge that runs weekly or you could wait awhile and make the St Lukes challenge your very first one. I know you would be made very welcome and honestly, none of us bite. Look forward to seeing you.
