Cards For Men

Hello all!
Sorry I haven't been here for a while, things have been so busy.  I've hardly had time for crafting, let alone blogging as well.
But when I have had time, I've been really enjoying myself.  Take the top card.  Sorry I can't remember where the inspiration came from, but I had great fun making this.  The green is Lucky Limeade.  I still love this colour, especially with black.
This was the next one, with a different colour combination:

I sent this one to my son in law.  I like the texture on these hexagons, but there is something lovely about the smooth ones on the first card, too.  You'll probably know the stamp set is Tape It from SU.  This is such a versatile set I'm using it on everything.  The blues are Tempting Turquoise, Island Indigo and Midnight Muse, which match the striped stamp sections.
The next step was to make this one:

This was for my son's birthday at the end of August.  It's literally 3 strips of Tim Holtz washi tape on the same card style, with the same birthday greeting underneath, on Basic Gray cardstock.  Very simple, chic and masculine.  My son really liked it, so I was very pleased.
Hope you're all (unlike me!) getting loads of time to craft.
Back soon
Jane x

  1. Sorry you're not getting much chance to craft at the moment, but hope you manage some 'me' time at some point soon. I really like the design layout of these cards. I think the first one is my favourite but I like the washi tape in the third too. Have a good weekend!

  2. Hi Jane. Great cards. I find it really hard to make cards for men, but you have nailed it! I like the colours you have chosen and the simplicity of the designs. Both designs are so versatile too. x x
