First Valentine's Card

Image
And this, my friends, is what having a Sizzix Bigshot is all about! I bought this stamped image last year and used it for hubby's anniversary card, so it's lovely to bring it out again this year for Valentine's Day. It's smaller than I remember it, but very sweet. I painted this last year on normal card using water colour paints which makes the card wrinkle, but this year I used Promarkers, which are a massive improvement. I love using their pastel yellow, and maybe a bit of blush for bears. Hope you like it. I used: Papers: Basic Grey Lemonade Die Cuts: Nellie Snellen ovals Promarkers: bear - pastel yellow, rose - dusky pink and pastel pink Sentiment: freebie with a magazine last year. Thanks for dropping by, Mrs O.

Little Elephant

This card was made with all the materials sent to me from Little Claire's designs for December but I've only just got round to making it. A very sweet image, I think. I've been wanting one of their elephants for a while and I'll be using it a lot I think. I'm glad I've got a grey Promarker as it's ideal for elephants (and mice!)

New Baby Gift

Image
I've made this little box to put a gift in for a friend's daughter's baby. I've used K&Co baby girl papers, although the gift is for a boy: I've used Nellie Snellen dies in my Bigshot for the sentiment, although the stamp was a freebie with Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine last year. Here's the top: I stamped the pram again on the green checked paper and cut out the hood and the wheels and stuck them on the stamped image. I coloured the pram and the backing die with pastel blue Promarker so it matches, ditto the sentiment backing. Flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts. Hope you like it. More coming soon.
